Important stats for the Super Bowl By Matthew Engelhardt

The Patriots and the Seahawks will have a rematch with each other in the Super Bowl, here are some important stats for the Super Bowl.

Both teams are top 2 in points allowed, the Seahawks had 17.2 PPG allowed being the top team in the league, while the Pats were second in the league with 18.8 PPG allowed, so the game might come down to who can produce on offense better or who can play better defense.

Seahawks:

  • The Seahawks in the last 3 games have had 0 turnovers (all against strong teams), if Sam Darnold can limit his turnovers then the Seahawks have a really good shot to win
  • The Seahawks led the league in third-down conversion rate allowed, which is forcing punts and keeping the Pats offense off the field
  • Without Zach Charbonnet the Seahawks need to rely on Kenneth Walker III to pick up the run game which they need to win

Jaxon Smith-Njigba had 10 receptions for 153 yards and a touchdown to help lead the Seahawks to the Super Bowl to face the Pats.

Patriots:

  • Drake Maye has taken five sacks in each of his three 2026 postseason games, making the offensive line's ability to protect him crucial against an aggressive pass rush in the Seahawks
  • Maye has thrown two interceptions and fumbled six times this postseason, requiring a cleaner performance to win against a Seahawks team who gets a lot of turnovers
  • During their 2026 playoff run, the Patriots' defense allowed only 3.1 yards per carry, the lowest of any squad to reach a Super Bowl in the past four years, which means that they need to hold Kenneth Walker III to a low game to win

Drake Maye lead the Pats to the Super Bowl to face the Seahawks with 10-of-21 for 86 pass yards and 10 carries for 65 yards and 1 TD.
