New Year, new Creative Challenge! And it’s time to start thinking about spring! Since customers need their seasonal content in advance, we asked our community to change their spirits from the cold and dark to the warmth and light of Spring! A season of change, joy, and new beginnings!
Keywords: crocus, yellow, flower, spring, snow. Good use of keywords here. Not much to add on my side!
This is a nice image! There were similar entries in this Challenge, but most of them were Generative AI, and I think it earns more merit to capture the image from reality than just re-creating the concept. Talking about the concept and the image, it is great: it shows that, in the words of Dr. Ian Malcom, “life, uh, finds a way”. We have the concept of renaissance associated with Spring times: the color and the joy of new life emerging from the cold. The color contrast brings our attention to the bright orange and green from the neutral white of the snow. Also, the space on the right is perfect for text or logos!
Keywords: tulip, red, different, yellow, grow. Keywords are ok, but I would have traded “yellow” for some concept related to individuality since, in my opinion, that is the main idea behind the image.
This image works great to illustrate abstract concepts such as individuality, standing up from the crowd, or being different. Or it can be a lovely nature landscape too! The composition is nice, although I would have tried to position both the red tulip and the horizon following the rule of thirds.
Keywords: mountain, woman, snow, crocus, spring. Good job with keywords, Liubov! Nothing to change from the top 5! For the next keywords, I would add conceptual ones, such as freedom, wellbeing, and similar ones.
I really like how the crocus and the dress match! I would love to think that was captured on camera, but I think it would have been easier to achieve that by editing the image in Photoshop. In any case, I think the image works perfectly and can be used in many different ways, from reconnecting with nature, freedom, health, well-being, and so on. I would have tried to re-frame the subject a bit, maybe trying to get the camera even closer to the ground, so the flowers were closer to her in the composition, and also leaving some more room at the top.
Keywords: marmot, spring, smell, flower, flavor. I wouldn’t use “flavor” as a keyword in this image; even if you are implying that the marmot is eating the flower, I would reserve that keyword for things related to food and gastronomy.
This is a cute image! I like the composition, with that clear copy space on the left; the blurred background with smooth color gradient is great for customers to put their text or logos. It is also easy to crop and adapt to different formats and aspect ratios. This is one of those cases where it makes sense using Generative AI to create an image that we could hardly find in real life, but without going too over-the-top so we lose the realism on the way.
Keywords: figurines, gardening, flowers, isolated, abstract people. As always, I don’t like the compound keywords very much. I would have used only “people“, instead of “abstract people”; also, I believe “figurative people” could be more correct, since they are not abstract 😉 Gardening is the main one, at least for me, since it is the main connection I made to the image.
This is a nice image, which I can see being used in several scenarios by customers. It is an excellent way to show the gardening concept, with those cute figurines and the flowers and plants in their heads. I like that the figurines present different colors and shapes, not all of them identical; it makes it a bit more organic, even though if they were real wooden toys, all of them would have the same shapes. The composition is clean, with that white background that helps customers crop and adapt the image to their needs, with some copy space on top of the image.
Keywords: spring, bunny, easter, craft, handmade. You sent three different images and assigned the same keywords to all of them; that’s something we’ve seen that can happen when batch uploading images to Adobe Stock: adding the same keywords to all of them without double-checking if they apply to every image. Here, “bunny” is not relevant and it’s out of place, and “egg” would be much more important.
I love the pastel tones combined with the earthy colors of the moss. Very seasonal content for Easter, but could also be used for crafts and arts! There is room for improvement in the composition since the main subject is not centered in the frame; an easy fix in Photoshop by cropping or using generative Expand (or even Content Aware!).
Keywords: spring, flower, growth, closeup, gardening. Good use of keywords. I will also add, after those, some keywords related to the concept of birth and sustainability (since it is related and it is one of the most demanded topics).
[Link to the Video] This is a great concept for spring since we touch on subjects of nature and growth, and I see lots of potential uses for this kind of footage in lots of corporate videos. I would try to fix the beginning of it since the hands shake a bit too much for my taste: perhaps if the hands were resting on something out of frame, they wouldn’t shake so much when you pull the flower out.
Keywords: cherrybloom, nature, white, bluesky, spring. There are some things to change here, since “cherrybloom” and “bluesky” are not keywords; they won’t translate to other languages, and they won’t show up on searches unless someone searches for them explicitly. “Cherry”, “bloom” and “blue” “sky” would be better options. And, if it was me, I would use “cheery”, “blossom”, “nature”, “spring” and maybe “flower”, since I do not believe that “white”, “blue” or “sky” are so relevant here.
Blossoming cherry trees are one of the elements that are most associated with spring, especially if we consider this challenge since we received different images with that theme! We picked this one because of the clearer composition, which allows customers to crop it or modify it to adapt the image to their needs. The contrast between the clear blue sky and the flowers is great, and the out-of-focus leaves we can see in the background add a bit of joy and color without being distracting.
Keywords: HoliFestival, ColorPowder, Portrait, Vibrant, CulturalCelebration. I don’t like compound keywords, but here we have two words mashed up in one, and that is not going to bring any results in searches, unless a customer types exactly that. So I would re-work them as “Holi”, “festival”, “portrait”, “celebration”, “colorful”, for example.
I really liked the vibrancy of this image, and how it captures a mass event like Holi in an intimate way. The predominant magenta tones are balanced with the purplish treatment of the skin tone, and those yellow and blue splashes on the nose break that monochromatic feel in a nice way.
Keywords: spring, youth, model, Asian, garden. I believe there is room for improvement on these keywords. For example, I don’t see the relevance of “garden” here since we do not see one; you could use it, but definitely not on the top ten keywords. Also, I would use “woman” instead of “model”. Other ideas could be “portrait”, “beauty”, “wellness”, or even “skincare”, since those could be keywords used by a customer who may need that image.
This is a good portrait; the expression is calm and relaxed and connects with the viewer. The color palette is good, balancing cold tones (on her shirt) and warm ones (on the flowers), without stridency. My only problem with the image is that the framing is a bit too tight, too much of a close-up, so customers won’t have room to modify or adapt the image easily to add texts or logos.
Keywords: Robin, Perched, Tree, Fir, Green. Good keywords. Unless you used “Perched” on your title, I would change it to something different, such as “bird,” “forest,” or “nature.” Remember that if you repeat your keywords on your title, you will get a boost in visibility for those keywords.
Really lovely nature picture. The composition is great, with the branch dividing the image almost in one of the horizontal thirds, and the Robin on the vertical one. The color contrast makes our eyes go strait into the bird, but also the difference in texture with the out of focus background help us read the image and focus on what matters. That out-of-focus area is great for copy, and I can see this being used in all matters of nature-related products and services.
And now, our Favorite image for this Blossoming Spring Challenge...
