Dear Bluejay Family,
As we settle back into our routines (albeit for just two more weeks), I want to take a moment to emphasize the importance of starting the school day on time. Arriving on time sets the tone for the day and ensures your child doesn’t miss valuable instructional time. The final tardy bell rings at 7:55 AM. Unfortunately, we’ve noticed a significant increase in late arrivals, with some families arriving just before or even after the final bell.
To help everyone arrive on time, please consider using our car line earlier in the morning. It moves most efficiently right when we begin at 7:30 AM, making this the ideal time to drop off your child. Arriving early not only ensures a smoother transition into the classroom but also helps avoid the last-minute rush that can be stressful for both students and parents.
Thank you for your attention to this matter and for partnering with us to create a positive, punctual start to every school day. May God bless you and your family with peaceful mornings and smooth starts to each day. St. Cecilia, pray for us!
Grace & Peace,
Erin B. Henry

Dear Bluejay Family,
Basketball and soccer were underway this week as we hosted our first home game of the season. Our Coed Soccer team also took to the field for its first action of the season. The soccer boys and girls that played all said how much fun they had playing! All in all, it was a successful week for the Bluejays. The most important thing that happened during the week was not on a scoreboard. Our Healing House Toy Drive collected 112 toys totalling $672.00 for the kids to open during Christmas. This was a joint venture with Our Lady of Fatima. It was heartwarming to see the table in the gym overflowing with gifts for others! Coach Jarett Lasseigne will deliver the gifts along with the basketball teams to the kids this week.
In the spirit of the holidays and helping those less fortunate, the SCS Athletic Department in conjunction with its boys and girls basketball teams will donate the proceeds of two of its home games to go toward providing toys to kids of families in Healing House and Foster the Love Program. To help is simple, bring a toy, you get into the game for free. If a family of 4 brings 4 toys, they all get in free. The toys will be collected at the gate of the games on December 4th and 11th. Please see the attached flyer. Special thanks to Coach Jarett Lasseigne and Coach Cristy Savoie for continuing and expanding this tradition at SCS.
