Parent Forum
Thank to all parents who came to the forum on Monday. The main items discussed were the Hallowe'en disco and the Christmas Fayre.
- The Hallowee'n party/disco will be on Friday 27th October, 5:30-7:00pm.
- The Christmas Fayre will be on Thursday 23rd November, 6:00-8:00pm.
Further details for both events will be sent out next week.
Harvest Service
We will be celebrating our Harvest Service in St Michael's Church on Tuesday 10th October at 9:30am. Parents/carers are welcome to join us for this service.
Donations of items for the Welshpool Foodbank will be collected from next week up to the end of half term. All donations greatly appreciated.
Parent/Teacher meeting
There is an opportunity for parents/carers to meet with their child's teacher to discuss how they have settled in at the start of this school year.
Miss Morris (Bedwen - Rec, Year 1 & Year 2) and Mrs Haine (Collen - Year 3 & Year 4) will be available on Tuesday 10th October.
Mrs Fowler (Ysgawen - Year 5 & Year 6) will be available on Tuesday 10th and Wednesday 11th October.

Toys
Please do not send toys into school for your child to play with during the day. It causes upset when other children want to play with them.
Bike Show
Thank you to everyone who supported the Bike Show last month.
The organisers have generously donated £1000 to school funds. In addition, staff raised £683 selling teas/coffees and the raffle raised £99 for After School Club.

Congratulations to Robert, Evie R, Leigh, Sean and Joe for completing a level on Lexia. Da iawn.
Governor Vacancies
We have two vacancies on our governing body for Community Governors. These can be any member of the community and do not need to have a connection to the school. If you know of someone in Forden who has the skills or experience required to contribute to the effective governance and success of the school, and would like this opportunity to help direct the strategic direction of the school, please contact Mrs Fowler.
