Drama at the wheel

West ham United 0-1 arsenal

Trossards 83rd minute goal turned out to be the winner after Callum Wilson’s goal was deemed to be a foul on arsenals David raya mixed opinions from neutrals, but that result keeps it advantage Arsenal by 2 points , the result also meant Leeds United and Nottingham Forest are safe from relegation leaving the race between London rivals West Ham and Tottenham Hotspur

"Arsenal have lived off those scrappy, aggressive goals all season. Blocking keepers, crowding the six-yard box, little nudges here and there. Suddenly, when it happens against them, it’s clear and obvious. Give me a break." - Joe Hart after West Ham's late equaliser v Arsenal was disallowed.

you lost the league at Bramley Moore ???

Manchester city traveled to Liverpool to take on Everton last week and dropped points, drawing 3-3 after being 3-1 down

Everton fans were in full voice and believe the ref played longer deeming “play till city score” plastered all of social media Manchester City’s Marc Guehi had a moment of madness gifting Everton a 2-1 lead in the second half a very big moment in the title race it was advantage city at this point Everton fans singing “you lost the league at bramley moore” at full time

Let’s have a look at the run in as there is more than just the premier league up for grabs

Arsenal - aswell as chasing down their first title since 2004 they are into the champions league final in Budapest for the first time since 2006 also chasing a first UCL the best trophy in club football and the ultimate bragging right.

Manchester City - city are chasing another English treble after beating Arsenal 2-0 in the EFL cup they are also preparing for the fa cup final against Chelsea after beating Southampton in the semi final, having also achieved the English treble in 2019

Now here is the main part the match EXPERIENCE

The drive down Kirkham to Manchester Piccadilly train station

Yes we are going from works location which is in Kirkham just outside Blackpool, our journey takes us down the M55, M6(S), M61, M60, M602 we’ll be parking at the train station before getting the tram to the etihad.

Match day vlog thumbnail
Arriving at the etihad

Was a vibrant atmosphere outside music playing and feeling like a big a game, only till it started raining

silly me walked the wrong way round the stadium, was meant to be the in the north and I walked all the way round the whole stadium to find my entrance 🤷‍♂️🫠

Inside the stadium, enjoying me Pepsi waiting for the players to come out

Now let’s say, I’m from the Wirral and most the of the country would think I’m scouse and some of the workers definitely did think this the was shocked 😂. But was all good we got spoken

Food ratings, now this is top tier food I need some extra backing in this, etihad or Hillsborough best food I’ve had recently we’ll definitely this season

BBQ CHICKEN WRAP UNBELIEVABLE WAS ABIT TO HOT AT FIRST BUT UNREAL
Pint of beer - 5/10 this wasn’t me trying it so you got another fans opinion apparently it’s disappointing, maybe next time I’ll try it I’m in the away end ???
Concourse at the etihad, honestly probably was the best I’ve seen in the prem loads of space to move round compared to anfield, bramley Moore
Approaching kick off a honour for 2 players leaving at the end of the season 2 players who have won it all

Kick off is underway - Crystal Palace target first forcing and early save from donnarumma but the flag is up

Manchester City ruthless in attack going forward every time they hit the final 3rd they look like they’ll score.

FIRST BLOOD CITY- semenyo strikes home with a well worked goal CITY AT THE DOUBLE - marmoush hits home to put city in charge a player I am a massive fan of and personally Man City should not sell him from all the news I’ve heard HALF TIME - dominate display but there is 1 person I want to talk about and that is of course the man between the stick

DONNARUMMA - he is unbelievable, his passion, football ability every single cross went straight to him his battling in the air was top notch big reason why palace couldn’t find a breakthrough SECOND HALF UNDERWAY - savinho puts city 3-0 from a dominate display already and puts the pressure on Arsenal, if 1 point is dropped by the gunners city will pounce they are coming for that goal difference, Mikel arteta no slip ups now……….

Overall ratings - really good ground definitely my number 2 this season, Newcastle just edged it, atmosphere was 50/50 was going now and again food quality and some scary attacking football from Man City which I wasn’t use to watching 👀…..
