Spring Nail Designs By Gia Salvatore

As spring and summer approach, nail designs circulate across Woodland’s fingertips.

Ranging between almond and coffin-shaped, many people's preference for spring nails does not change.

Freshman, Sophia DeGennaro, rarely gets her nails done, but when she does, it is in the summer.

Vibrant colors are her go-to, but in the beginning of summer, she might do a simple-french tip.

"I prefer almond shaped nails," DeGennaro said.

Freshman, Zoe Moriarty, prefers to get different colors and shapes when she gets her nails done.

"I like almond shape, and getting pink and blue is also very cute," said Moriarty.
"I love to get flowers on my nails," Moriarty said.

Getting flowers adds to the spring/summer aesthetic, and adds an extra pop of design.

" I like both chrome and matte," said Moriarty. "It depends on what design I get."

Freshman, Giuliana Celotto, prefers a rounded shape in the summer. One of her favorite colors for nails is pink.

Celotto said, "I also like turquoise, but pink is my favorite."
"I prefer to get designs in the summer, rather than plain. I definitely like Chrome more than Matte," said Celotto.

Each year, there is a visible switch between winter and spring/summer nails.

This year, the switch is most popular to chrome and bright colors, as to neutrals and dark blues from the winter.
