It's Great to be a Trion Bulldog!

Welcome Back!

Welcome Back, Bulldogs! We are thrilled to have our students back on the hill! It is exciting to see the wonderful things that they are already accomplishing academically and socially through the work of our outstanding teachers and staff at Trion Elementary School. Thank you for sharing your precious children with us!

Character Word of the Month

Good Manners

When you use good manners, you show respect to other people and their property. Examples of manners include using eye contact when someone is speaking to you, offering to help someone in need, and making sure you don't talk with your mouth full at the table. Thank you to all of our Bulldogs who have been showing the best manners at school!

Class Dojo

Stay informed! If you have not yet connected to your child’s Class Dojo account, please take the time to do so. This is our main communication platform. It is simple to connect and extremely user-friendly!

Data Digs

We believe that teaming with our families makes us stronger in achieving our goals toward each child showing academic growth. We would like to invite you to join us virtually for our first Data Dig on Thursday, Sept. 19th. Our teachers will be creating an informational video that will be posted on our Class Dojo app that you may view from the comfort or your home (or the ball field 😉).

PLEASE take a few moments to watch the video, as teachers will be sharing current academic data, as well as engaging games and activities that you can play at home to help develop foundational skills. If you have children in multiple grade levels, no worries! You can find each student's video posted on their individual Class Dojo pages. Take a few moments to view these presentations, and take an active part in your child's education. I promise, you will be glad you did!

Future Bulldog /Rec. Night

Friday, Sept. 20th will be our Future Bulldog Night at Sam R. McCain Stadium! Players and coaches will be admitted free. Parents must purchase a ticket to enter the stadium. All fall recreation teams will be recognized on the field at 7:00. Players and coaches need to be at the south end of the stadium near the fieldhouse by 6:45. Go Bulldogs!

Open House

See what's POPpin' at TES! You are invited to pop in on September 9th anytime between 4:30-6:00 to visit your child's classroom, view student work samples and art pieces, and register for prize giveaways! Before leaving, enjoy a popcorn snack with your child! See you there!

Let's shoot some hoops! Our new outdoor basketball court is complete!
Our spotlight Difference Maker of the month is Brody Malone. Brody attended Trion High School and Stanford University, earning a degree in management science and engineering. Through hard work, determination, and perseverance, Brody has earned both world championship and Olympic medals.
