Inside the Palace of the Grand Dukes
a History and Art CLIL lesson/educational excursion
exploring the history and artful interiors of the Palace
We learned about genealogy of Lithuania's rulers and their family ties with European monarchs. We saw a lot of wooden, metal and ceramic tools, some glasses and dishes, and also a lot of jewellery, such as rings and crowns with gems, chainlets, brooches . . .
Time to say goodbye . . .
Walking to the modern part of Vilnius, near the Neris river we had the chance to admire the blooming cherry trees and have a farewell stroll around.
Each and every one of the partner students and teachers had such strong feelings realizing that we were experiencing the last activity, of the last day, of the last mobility of our 3-year A.Li.E.N.? project . . .
Vilniaus Gabijos Gimnazija was a perfect host of this 5th and last mobility of our Erasmus+ KA229 project.
This week's activities proved that Art & Literature are not ALIEN elements of our five schools!
