ZWMS 8th Grade DC Trip Student Scholarship Fund Donation Request

  • ZWMS 8th grade students (current 7th graders) have the opportunity to take a field trip to Washington DC. We don't want finances to be a reason a student doesn't get to tour and learn about our nation's capital. Please consider donating to our student scholarship fund. Any donation amount will add up to allow more students the chance to experience this educational opportunity.
  • If you have questions please reach out to the 7th & 8th grade social studies teachers (Mrs. Behrens, Mrs. Peltier, Mr. Wojas, or Mr. Yovanovich), or Principal Shawn Wooden.
  • ZWMS General Scholarship Fund Link
  • Donation Deadline - July 1, 2024
  • No donation is too small - thank you for your consideration!
March is Disability Awareness Month. Throughout the week of March 4th-8th, we will share announcements and activities that help our students better understand what it means to be UNIFIED. On Friday, March 8th, students can participate in Hat Day by making a $1 donation that will go directly to Special Olympics and honor our ZCS student athletes and partners who participate in Unified Champions.

ZWMS Do Days Opportunities

  • The 7th & 8th grade Boys Volleyball teams at Z-West will be collecting items to make hygiene bags to distribute to a homeless shelter as our contribution for Do-Days. We are asking for donations of a few items, at THIS LINK. We will be taking donations from February 26th through March 1st. There will be boxes in West Hall, and outside the classrooms of Mrs. Smart, Mrs. Comer, and Miss Shipley.
  • We are so excited to have a branch of the Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library opening in Whitestown! If you are looking for a way to give back to the community during ZCS Do-Days, please consider signing up here for a slot to volunteer at the library.
