🎥 Currently Creating: Project Next of Kin
A deeply personal documentary series inspired by the stories and lives of her Grandparents; Next of Kin seeks to explore themes of resilience, memory and familial bonds.
📖 Over decades of research, Stephanie has immersed herself in British archives, tracing her own family’s lineage back to the 1500’s while researching the social history of community, connection and working-class life.
🎬 Her short film The History & Mystery of Marjory Burr (2021) was created as a tribute to her grandmother, a foundling whose origins remained unknown for 85 years.
This was where Project: NOK was born.
