In August 2024, the NPP released a wide-ranging manifesto outlining its vision for governance; a platform that propelled them to electoral victories in September and November. While the government has taken initial symbolic steps toward accountability, genuine and tangible progress in reconciliation, constitutional reform, and human rights remains limited.
