Carroll 13 Snider 3

The Chargers hosted Snider on Monday and came away with a 13 - 3 victory over the Panthers.

Adler Kellams had a big night for the Chargers leading the way offensively. Kellams went 3 for 3 with 5 RBI's including a 3 run HR in the second inning to help put the Chargers up 7 - 0 in the second inning. Kellams also walked once and stole 2 bases.

Rhett Swoverland, Jack Johnson and Carter Irons also had hits for the Chargers who were also helped by walking 9 times and 3 HBP's.

Rhett Swoverland went 4 1/3 innings to pick up the win. He worked through some sloppy Charger defense and still limited the Panthers to 3 earned runs.

Jayce Richards was set to finish things off for Carroll but only needed to go 2/3 of an inning before the game ended by a run rule.

Carroll improves to 11 - 8 on the season and return to action on Tuesday when they travel to play Homestead at Parkview Field.
