“These three women lay down a powerful sound that oozes punk rock roots, sure, but is also something newer and, quite honestly, better.” - Phoenix New Times
ABOUT
The Venomous Pinks are an all-female punk band from Arizona who have been making waves in the scene since 2013. The band is known for their intense and energetic live shows, as well as their catchy melodies and brash punk sound.
While every all-female punk band will draw inevitable comparisons to Bikini Kill, few deserve them more and want them less than the Venomous Pinks. They simply want to deliver the most intense, refined, in-your-face, high-energy hardcore punk regardless of gender or background.
The Venomous Pinks have shared the stage and earned the respect of a who's who of punk rock royalty, including Dead Kennedys, Bad Religion, and NOFX. They have also played at some of the biggest festivals in the world, such as Punk Rock Holiday, Punk Rock Bowling, and BrakRock.
In 2022, The Venomous Pinks released their long-awaited debut LP, Vita Mors. The album perfectly encapsulates who The Venomous Pinks are in 2022: a fusion of unforgettably catchy melodies and brash punk that pushes forth the underlying messages of unity, equality, and positive mental attitude (PMA).
Whether you're looking for the slick hardcore punk musicianship of shredding guitars, pounding bass, and thunderous drums or the oft-inspiring message of a band capable of bringing generations of punk rockers together The Venomous Pinks are very much what the present and future look like. These ladies will rock your world in every room of the house, clear out to the parking lot. While their energetic stage performance exhibits a "work hard and play harder" mentality, this tight, punchy three-piece's unapologetic style will ravage your ears with their mix of punk and hardcore.

MUSIC
The much-anticipated album Vita Mors (2022) is consumed by a deep narrative while fusing their razor-sharp guitar licks, mesmerizing bass riffs, and thunderous drum shreds, which is what the trio is known for. Recorded at Maple Sound Studios, engineered and produced by Cameron Webb, as well as co-produced by Linh Le (Bad Cop/Bad Cop), this collaboration created a dynamic sound with unforgettable harmonies. Serving severe sing-along vibes, guest gang vocal appearances include Linh Le, Efrem Schulz (Death by Stereo), and Brenna Red (The Last Gang). Dan Palmer (Zebrahead, Death by Stereo) also plays guitar on Mercy, I Really Don’t Care, and Hold On.
This synergy between musicians gives an overarching theme of unity and solidarity in the music scene. The album’s addictive sequencing goes full throttle from start to finish, making it impossible to skip over tracks since each stands strong on its own. Subjects range from persevering heart-wrenching losses to fighting sexism to belting social change war cries, which prove once again their punk rock commentary is a force to be reckoned with. Vita Mors is more than an album. It’s an insider’s guide into The Pinks’ personal rebel journey.
Other notable releases include: We Do it Better EP (2017), I Want You EP (2020), and Based on a True Story EP (2021).

IN THE MEDIA
"The power trio do Phoenix’s lush music scene proud on their 2020 EP, I Want You. Joan Jett should also be proud as well. Hell, as her legacy lives on in a colorful full blast and a gnarly scarring bite with the Venomous Pinks."
"This trio of strong women create incredible punk rock that transcends the genre with a unique blend of power, harmony, grit, and passion. Drea, Gaby, and Cassie have dedicated their lives to their craft, and it is clear that they live, breathe, and exist to create intense rock ‘n’ roll with meaning."
"A [Bernie] Sanders rally was part concert, part sermon — a place for young and old to dance, somewhat perplexed, to a band called the Venomous Pinks opening for the impassioned stump speech about inequality; a traveling road show of constructive grievance..."
"Arizona-based punk band The Venomous Pinks are here to broadcast a message of unity in these strange times."
“…and holy smokes, does it rip. It’s loud and fast and aggressive and cathartic, and it finds the crew full of fire and brimstone.”
“The Venomous Pinks have something to say, and you need to listen, and sing and dance and shout along with them.”
“The first thing I thought when I listened to Vita Mors was: all-female version of The Sex Pistols. Raw instrumentals, snarling vocals, and aggressive, in-your-face anarchy makes up The Venomous Pinks’ sound.”
