FNR Communication Guidelines for Beneficiaries Version - June 2025

Congratulations on securing your FNR grant!

As an FNR beneficiary, you’re now part of a community that’s driving research and innovation forward. It’s important to recognise the support that makes this possible—both for your visibility and your founders.

To help you do this with clarity and impact, we’ve prepared these FNR Communication Guidelines. Here you’ll find everything you need to:

  • Include the written acknowledgement in your communications
  • Use the FNR logo correctly
  • Apply official colours

We wish you every success in your project and look forward to seeing the impact of your work!

01. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF FNR FUNDING

Beneficiaries of the Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR) programmes, grants and schemes, have the obligation to explicitly acknowledge that their action has received FNR funding, it formally recognizes the financial support that made the research possible. This must be done, if possible and unless the FNR requests otherwise, in all communication and dissemination, as well as on all equipment, infrastructure and major results funded by FNR. The FNR logo and reference to FNR funding must be displayed in a way that is easily visible for the public and with sufficient prominence (taking also into account the nature of the activity or object). In case of non-compliance, the FNR reserves the right to pursue further steps.
