Antioch Project Summary Report | May 3, 2023

Dear Supporters and Donors,

Thank you for your support of this project. Your generosity has positively impacted countless families affected by the earthquakes in Turkiye.

According to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OHCA), 15.6 million people were affected by the earthquakes which hit Turkiye on February 6, 2023. The most severely impacted province was Hatay, which hosts about 400,000 refugees.

The purpose of the Antioch Project is to provide relief to affected families in Antakya, Hatay, and surrounding areas by providing access to life-sustaining resources such as water, food, and hygiene products and other urgent needs.

Textbooks: 200 (English, Science, plus lab supplies)

Children’s Shoes: 130 pairs

Breakfast Kits: 74

Sports/P.E. Equipment: 20 soccer balls plus goal, 4 basketballs, 2 volleyballs, badminton set

Other Items Distributed: Stroller, fan, cleaning supplies, cooler, medicine, clothing
