Impact
Carolina Law and current students benefit directly and immediately from your support. Your annual gifts help provide the scholarship offerings, academic programs and career development opportunities that attract the nation’s most promising students and faculty to Carolina Law.
Last year, thanks to your support, the UNC School of Law Firm Campaign brought in almost $700,000 for the law school. This came from 630 alumni donors, 161 of whom gave a leadership-level gift.
As one of our largest annual campaigns, The Firm Campaign is critical to the law school's fundraising efforts. Gifts from this campaign provide student scholarships, supports nationally-recognized faculty and their scholarship, and bolsters award-winning programs and clinics. Here are some of the incredible accomplishments Carolina Law is celebrating from the past year thanks to your support:
- Rising to No. 22 in U.S. News & World Report's ranking of American Law Schools
- Placing 97.8% of graduates with jobs after graduation
- The highest July 2023 bar passage rate among North Carolina Law Schools for first-time test takers, with an overall passage rate of 90%
- Recruited an outstanding class of 2026 with a 3.78 median GPA and 166 median LSAT.
