From The Classrooms!
Kindergarten
From Mrs. Behrle: Thank you to all the parents/guardians who purchased books for the classroom at the Book Fair. A HUGE THANK YOU to the anonymous donor who made a purchase of multiple books for the classroom.
First Grade
We are working hard at learning basic addition and subtraction strategies. Right now we are working on fact fluency with addition fact up to 10 and subtraction facts within 10. This year we will work with strategies within 20 and solving larger equations with tools. Practice at home by playing a math game.
Second Grade
We are so excited for our field trip to Shady Brook Farm next Friday, October 27th! Please remember that this is a rain or shine trip, so dress your child accordingly. We also ask that you pack a disposable lunch. Thank you!
Third Grade
We had an assembly this week on our Schoolwide Positive Behavior Program (Respect, Responsibility, Safety). We also met our two new Police Officers that are assigned to our school to visit from time to time and be friendly faces for our students. This week we wrap up Topic 3 in Math and our next test is scheduled for early next week. Halloween Parade and Party information is coming from your Homeroom Teacher. We can have five volunteers. Please let us know if your child is not going to participate in the Parade. Have a great week and keep studying those multiplication facts!
