The Application Process and Criteria
Students interested in joining the Hilton Scholars College will begin by completing the standard application for admission, the same process followed by all prospective applicants.
All information to be considered for the Hilton Scholars College must be submitted by December 1, including taking the HSPT.

Once an application has been submitted, the criteria to be invited to continue in the Hilton Scholars College admission process is as follows:
- An HSPT score of 600 or higher;
- An academic transcript that reflects demanding coursework, including Algebra 1, and clear evidence of distinction in the classroom;
- A recommendation from an adult of your choice who can speak to both your academic and personal attitude toward learning (Note: This recommendation is in addition to the three required as part of your admission packet.);
- Required attendance at one of the Hilton Scholars College Admission Days (dates to be announced).
After your full application is submitted and complete, a committee will review all applicants and offer invitations to the program or an early-admission decision by January 15.
