ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Eckerd women's soccer team returns to the pitch on Thursday to open the season against Lee at 7:00 PM. EC kicks off their conference slate on Saturday, September 21, at Barry at 7:00 PM.
"I think that along with any team I have coached, you will see intensity and hard work at the forefront of all that we do. We want to attack teams and score goals with our speed and skill, while being disciplined in our approach to defending. I believe that you will enjoy watching this group entertain on the field and fight for wins in the best Division II conference in the country.," said head coach Luke Sheekey '10.
This year's squad features 14 newcomers mixing in with 18 returners.

In her first season at Eckerd, Brasher started all seven games in the net. She registered 28 saves on the season with a career high of five against Rollins. Brasher ended the season with a 3-3-1 record and two shutouts. She was named SSC Defensive Player of the Week following her clean sheets on the week for a combined eight saves in shoutout victories.
