Digital Dark Skies Photography By Elena My work as a photographer is to explore and capture the relationship between an artist, and an audience or individuals. As a musician myself, music and art has always been an inspiration to me. Music has a way of reaching out to me and relating to others. Art allows me to express myself with imagery. Just like art, I feel as if music allows an artist to express themselves in many ways, and share their raw emotions by the use of their powerful lyrics and musical tonality. Not one artist is the same. As a concert goer, I am no stranger to the music scene, I began to look at performers through my lens. I then began capturing these moments with musicians with my camera. It is now a passion of mine. I enjoy documenting these intimate moments as if I were writing a book, but with photos. I capture each and every image in their own mood, narrative, and work in the moment. I also try and get my viewers the up-close effect, so they feel the experience through my images. My other goal is to capture portraits in different mood settings to capture self reflection and expressions. I would like to use my portraits as a canvas to tell stories that only my lens can convey. Each person has their own unique story and identity, and I would love to capture it. Every photo is a snapshot of one's story through their music and lifestyle. It allows me to share that with my viewers. All my photos bring out the elements of a story to capture a viewer's eye. I love what I do, and I hope to grow as a photographer. I want to become a photographer that gains a reputation of an artist that seeks the thrills in the world of photography; to allow you to see the enjoyment and fascination in my work .
