Unified Basketball Game march 3rd, 2025

[Left to Right] Freshman Grace Gallagher, Freshman Amelia Vanthof, Freshman Chloe Shumaker, Freshman Olivia Leonardis, and Freshman Josiah Wallace pose for a picture with an encouraging sign. They are all a part of the Unified team and support the wildcats daily!

[Left to Right] Sophomore Larry Rich, senior Natalie Lara, freshman Ben Diesel and varsity basketball coach David Chana are on the court getting ready for the tip-off. They instantly ran down the court to make a basket with their teammates following closely behind.

Number Nine, sophomore DeNel Kirvan takes charge of the ball as the teachers attempt to follow after him. Kirkin continues to dominate on and off the court.
Wallace makes a basket! When Wallace scored the crowd roared with excitement.
English teacher Audrey Whetstone and spanish teacher Holly Chapin congratulate sophomore Kate Denton after scoring a point. Denton loved receiving congratulations from fellow players.
Leonardis helps Wallace play basketball through the majority of the game. Leonardis helps him stay involved and be an integral part of the game.
Campus security guard Derek Brooks guards Diesel while he tries to make a shot. Diesel is fierce and gets around Brooks. He's unstoppable!

Special education teacher Jocelyn Fox hugs freshman Janna Blanchard to congratulate her. Fox is the coach of the Unified Team. She has a bright personality and is someone these kids will never forget.

Number eight, freshman Hunter Reames contemplates his next move. He is strategic in the play and gives the ball to Unified to take down the court and score.
Wells guards Diesel with Whetstone following closely behind. Diesel was able to get around both of them and make a basket, Diesel is unstopable
Following their 60-25 win, the Unified Team waits to hear their name to receive an award. They were all pumped up and celebrated with one another during and after.
Fox gives an award to Denton. Denton had a wide smile across her face when receiving this award. One simple thing such as a medal can make a difference.
