THE VIBE
Upon entering the hotel, you will find Coco Café, a cafe and wine bar, a bright airy space which serves as a hub for guests and locals who use it to meet friends and for informal business meetings. A chic oasis in the heart of Coco Hotel, where guests and locals cross paths to enjoy a coffee, a drink or a light meal. adjacent courtyard offers coffee, locally sourced light meals, snacks and of course a thoughtfully selected wine list, drinks, and cocktails. Either under the open sky in Coco's green oasis of a courtyard, or - if the weather doesn't behave - inside the big, beautiful bar built by Copenhagen Cabinetmakers.
Surrounding a green and serene courtyard, the hotel's 88 rooms are designed to make you feel welcome and comfortable whether staying for business or pleasure. Located in the heart of Vesterbro neighborhood, considered the cultural lifeblood of the city, guests have easy access to everything Copenhagen offers. Named 'One of the 10 World's Coolest Neighborhoods in the World' by Lonely Planet, the area just keeps getting better and Coco hotel adds to that cool factor.
The hotel offers eight categories of rooms: Single, Small Double, Double, Twin, Triple, Superior, Superior Room, Family Suite, and the Junior Suite. Ranging from 150 sq ft to 270 sq ft. larger rooms include a cosy sitting area and each room has an ensuite bath with either a shower and/or bathtub. Rooms are functionally decorated without compromising comfort or design. Additional amenities include organic cotton bed linens and towels, Wi-Fi access, and room service is available from 09:00 pm to 22:00 pm.
SUSTAINABILITY
Don’t let the beautiful suites fool you, this is a hotel with sustainability at its core. From morning to night, everything revolves around the sun, whether it’s streaming through the dormer windows of each room or powering the lights each night with electricity generated by Cofoco's very own solar field. Café Coco primarily serves organic products, and you will find no plastic bottles in the minibar. All towels and bed linens are made from organic cotton. The entire building has been renovated with energy and water saving solutions and, like Cofoco's restaurants, the hotel is covered by sustainable energy from Cofoco's own solar park in Nees, North West Jutland.
COFOCO
Parent company Cofoco owns a total of 19 restaurants with several in Vesterbro, so should you wish to explore the area you can find a variety of choices all in the family. It all started at Restaurant Cofoco, rustic and elegant, simple, and complex, Danish ingredients that prepared in a way to make the ingredients shine their brightest. The most recent includes Jah Izakaya & Sake Bar - this gastropub is a beloved neighborhood favorite serving great dishes with a wide selection of sake. Les Trois Cochons serves everything you would expect to find in a local Parisian bistro. Spuntino, organic and local ingredients prepared as they would in Italy all served family style on big platters for sharing.
