Two of the premier golf courses in Mississippi sit less than a mile away from each other just outside of the small town of West Point. Both are home to Mississippi State’s men’s and women’s golf teams.

Old Waverly Golf Club & the Mossy Oak Golf Club, which alternate in hosting the women's fall event known as 'The Ally', and the men's spring event known as the 'Mossy Oak Collegiate', as well as multiple USGA events, provide Mississippi State student-athletes with a premier collegiate golf experience.

Not only do MSU golfers have access to two of the finest courses in the Southeast, but amongst them lies the Bulldogs’ practice facility, which is the top of its kind in the nation.

Opened in the fall of 2014, the MSU practice facility, affectionately known as “The Barn,” includes four different greens, including an 18,000-square foot green in the shape of Mississippi. This area provides diverse short game practice for putting, wedges, etc. In addition, it offers two types of sand in the bunkers for an extra layer of preparation.

“The Barn” is also equipped with a 500 sq. ft. indoor putting studio and SAM PuttLab technology which offers golfers the ability to analyze and develop their performance on the greens.

The inside of the 6,300-square foot team clubhouse includes men’s and women’s locker rooms, a workout room, coaches’ offices, a conference room, bag storage and more.

Adjacent to the clubhouse lies four hitting bays that encompass 2,431-square feet. Two of the bays are outfitted with video cameras, computers, television screens and state-of-the-art TrackMan technology.

Student-athletes are welcomed into the facility with a common area that includes an entertainment center, ping pong table and kitchen.
