Blessing of the Pets - A St. Peter 3rd Grade Tradition

Students in all 6th grade ELA classes celebrated August Pullman’s birthday on Tuesday, October 10th. Auggie is the main character from the book "Wonder" who has helped us discuss acceptance, friendship, and the many ways we can spread kindness. Students worked together to create personal precepts and shared their meaning with the class. They challenged their knowledge with a themed escape room filled with challenging questions. With an outpouring of support from our parents, students were treated to a birthday cup cake and some special keepsakes to remember the day.
Ms. Carter's 5th grade social studies classes discovered the mystery of Roanoke using Google Forms. We practiced proper small group chivalry by letting each student have a turn answering a question. Everyone had so much fun collaborating!
Good luck to our 5th Grade Flag Football Team!
