Dressing for Cold Weather

Lots of Middle Schoolers think it's "uncool" to wear a coat/jacket. With the temperatures hitting the coldest of the year so far, please take time to remind your child about proper attire in the cold--especially if they are waiting at a bus stop or walking to school. If you are in need of resources and your child is without a coat/jacket, please contact the main office and we will connect you with resources to keep your child warm.

The Week Ahead!!

Winter NWEA Testing

We will be conducting our Winter NWEA Tests this week. The NWEA test is a vital tool for our staff, students, and school because it provides actionable data that drives meaningful growth. For our staff, it offers insights into individual student strengths and areas for improvement, enabling targeted instruction and interventions. For our students, it helps set clear, personalized goals, empowering them to take ownership of their learning journey. For our school, the NWEA results inform decisions that enhance curriculum alignment and resource allocation, ensuring we meet the needs of all learners and foster academic success at every level. It is imperative that your child is in attendance these days so they do not have to miss other instruction to make up the tests.

Quarter 2 Report Cards

A School Messenger was sent out Friday 1/24 with directions of how to view and download your child's Quarter 2 Report Card. The directions are also linked below. If you cannot access PowerSchool, please contact the main office.

There is a small list of 8th graders that will need to be screened as well. If your student is prescribed glasses or contacts, please make sure they wear them that day. If you do not want your student to participate in the vision screening, please send a letter with your student to give to Mrs. Brossoit in the main office as soon as possible.
