STILLA HAVET Natten // the Night - tour 2024

With hailed album ”Natten” // The Night, in their pocket, New Wave outfit STILLA HAVET takes on home country Sweden and Europe for 2024.

AAlbum Natten was released in September and met with great reviews; it received 5/6 is Scandinavias biggest music paper Gaffa, 8/10 in major outlet Zero Magazine. Sweden biggest daily paper DN featured all three singles as ”Best of the week” consequently. The release tour to Swedens major cities in September was sold out. Yet no time to rest for the duo described by national TV as ”neon kraut".

Cutting through metropolitan midnights pushing on a dark autobahn outside cologne with the Cure, New Order in the stereo, STILLA HAVET launch a new take on contemporary life. Language barriers a side, there is something fundamentally interpersonal in the grops expression, be it in their frantic shows in Shibuya, Kiev, Berlin or Paris.

As Iggy Pop said to the group; “you are way too young to sound that good”, and indeed Stilla Havet includes both contemporary dance rhythms and vintage raw-power energy.

Before releasing ”Natten” // The Night, STILLA HAVET concluded their first ever Asia Tour in 2023, following the footsteps of David Bowie playing in Typhoons struck halls and dark cellar pubs in Japan and Thailand.

In March STILLA HAVET is nominated for Swedens major independent music award Manifest, as best Synth, and the album ”Natten / The Night” as best Album in Gaffa Awards (Sweden's biggest music magazine).

This springs tour is recognized as their best live set ever; Gaffa reviewed the sold out Gothenburg show in March as 5/6 - ”It's pumping bass, infectious synth melodies and a passionate frontman who sets the tone for the doomsday”
