#1 Snowman Refugee
This illustration is about a snowman running away from the blazing sun. It’s running into the North Pole, and the blue trail that follows him is melting essence. The “u” shaped marks on his body and his facial expression indicate that the snowman is in distress and is seeking refuge from the sun. The grey lines within the snow are meant to enhance the ground, making it seem as if there are piles of snow and not just empty white space.

2# Generic Logos
These are 3 simple logos, each of a different category. First, there’s the “Chicken Farm Inc.” the logo is a baby chicken that has just started to hatch. I chose a red font for the brand name as it seems that red is a common color used whenever something is related to chicken. Next is the “Leaf Raking Corporation” the two oval shapes that are on the top and the bottom are leaves. In the center of them are 3 letters, which stand for Leaf Raking Corporation The last logo is C.C. Thrift Store. The arrows above and below are to represent the process of donating and recycling clothes.

#3 Xtreme Skull Mascot
The inspiration behind this art piece was to make a logo for a snowboarding company. The company wanted a logo that would target a young, reckless adventurous audience and also requested the logo include the company’s name, “Xtreme Latitude.” The laughing skull is meant to represent the reckless young, spirit of a child, and the ice that covers its face is an addition to the snowboarding theme. The rugged letter font is meant to accompany the art style of the skull.

#4 Latitude Board This illustration is a sequel to the “Xtreme Skull”. This time instead of a logo, the goal was to design a snowboard that has a theme and includes visual graphics. For this project, I went for a “yin and yang” design. I also incorporated previous ideas such as the skull logo and the “Xtreme Latitude” Brand on either side of the board.

5# Pollen
For this project, we had to make a shoe design, so made a shoe that is easy to match and make outfits with. I chose to use black as the main color as it highlights the bee pattern on the shoes. The yellow represents the current weather, which is Autumn. The bees are just an extra addition to the design I added last minute, to fill in the space on the shoe.
