A fun first week of December for our Lower School pupils with the arrival of glitter and Christmas fun! 🎅🎄❄️
Nursery have been learning about Christmas colours: purple, silver and white. Together with Reception, they found a crashed sleigh outside in their outside area and some dinosaur footprints in their class! It's all made for a very exciting week!
Reception were left two very important jobs from Santa- sorting presents on the sleigh so they didn't wobble and making posters using shiny materials so Santa knew where to park.
All the classes had an assembly from Reverend Angela on Monday, she spoke about advent and the Christmas story. It was lovely to see her again after going to Holy Cross Church last Friday to take our Angels to celebrate 'The Festival of the Angels'. Pop down to the church to have a look at our wonderful work.
Year 1 have been busy changing their role play area into a Post Office and even had a delivery from The Jolly Christmas Postman himself! He tasked the children to help him cover the parcels in something waterproof to stop them getting wet on his deliveries.
On Friday, Lower School had a fantastic 'Elf and Wellbeing day' with lots of activities for us to have fun and feel calm leading up to Christmas 🎄🎅
