The Celtics return from spring training with a 1-7 record. Carlow is hitting .259 as a team, led by senior Fran Beighley with a .433 batting average. Haley Bicko leads the Celtics in the circle with a 2.78 ERA over 22.2 innings with 15 strikeouts on the season.
The Yellow Jackets are off to a 10-1 start this season. Waynesburg is batting .393 as a team, led by Meysa Heitmann who has a .529 average with two home runs, three triples, two doubles and 10 RBI. In the circle, Sydney Wilson leads the team with a 1.60 ERA and 38 strikeouts over 35 innings.
