Green Team
We had our very first ER Student Green Team meeting this past week. We have 27 students from grades K-5th grades on our team. Our Greenies (Green team kid leaders) will lead our school in our mission to be more āGreenā. They will be the leaders in recycling, composting, and all things to care for and better protect our planet. The team discussed problems we have at ER, that they feel we could do better, such as recycling in the cafeteria and how to eliminate trash out on the playground. We discussed what else we could do to help such as composting or starting an ER garden. Our ER Green Team is partnering with our incredible PTO who will be helping us make ER more green by creating recycling stations throughout the building. We are excited to see our ER Greenies change our building for the better while caring for Planet Earth!

Second Grade
We cannot wait for our field trip to Shady Brook Farm this Friday, October 27th! Please remember to pack a disposable lunch. Thank you!
Third Grade
We have our Topic 3 Math test this week, then itās on to āUsing Multiplication Facts to Divide,ā which is why itās more critical than ever to practice multiplication facts at home whenever possible. We are seeing the fruits of your labor in class. Many students have many facts already memorized, making Math class a whole lot easier for them. On Friday, 3rd Grade is wearing BLUE in the Kids-Walking-4-Kids event. Have a great week!
