Lute Women's Lacrosse vs. Occidental 2025 Pacific Lutheran University Digital Game Program

Setting the Scene: The Lutes play their second night game in three days, welcoming Occidental College to East Field.

About the Lutes: Undefeated in the month of February, the Lutes (1-3) are still searching for their first victory of March as they welcome another southern California team to East Field.

Taylle Alldredge scored the opening goal on Tuesday night but it was all Regals after that with visiting California Lutheran University securing a 25-2 victory.

Alldredge tallied both goals on the night. The team's leading scorer, the first-year has scored a goal in every game this season.

Kassie Diller had a busy night in goal, making a season-high 17 saves on the evening.

Seven Lutes have scored a goal this season while eight players have registered a point. Taylee Alldredge is the Lutes' top goalscorer with 11 goals and one assist through the opening four games. Katrina Moran and Isabella Marchio both have four goals while Annie Latimer is the team leader in assists with six.

Kassie Diller has played all 240 minutes in goal this season, making 45 saves with a .421 save percentage.

About the Regals: Occidental (4-3) heads to East Field having won two of its last three games. The Tigers ushered in the month of March with a 19-10 non-league triumph over Albion College before dropping a 21-3 affair to Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference rival Pomona-Pitzer Colleges on March 7.

Oxy rebounded on Tuesday night, leading wire-to-wire in a 21-5 victory over University of Puget Sound. That was a game the Tigers surged out to an early 9-1 lead. Olivia Okamoto led the charge with six goals and three assists with Emma Cho finding the back of the net five times.

Okamoto is the team leader in both goals (28) and points (33) while Maeve Moylan is second in both categories with 18 goals and six assists. Ella Skoglund is the Tigers' leader in assists with nine on the year along with scoring nine goals.

Oxy has used three different goalies this spring with Andie Angelacci starting all seven games. Angelacci has 39 saves on the season with a .331 save percentage.

Fast Starts: PLU has scored the opening goal in all four games this season with Taylee Alldredge responsible for three of those four goals.

East Field Magic: PLU's East Field has been a tough place for opposing team's to play at during the 2024-2025 academic year. The Lute women's lacrosse squad along with the Northwest Conference Champion men's and women's soccer teams have combined for a 15-2-7 record on the turf this academic year.

A Season of Firsts: Women's lacrosse became the first new varsity sport for the University since 1996 when the team played its first game back on Feb. 16. That game saw a lot of milestones. First goal was provided by Taylee Alldredge, the first assist was claimed by Annie Latimer. Meanwhile, later that week Kassie Diller became the program's first NWC Athlete of the Week.
