Literacy Open Day: Friday 22/11/24
A reminder that all the information needed & the booking form, is linked here. Please book your spot before 12pm tomorrow (to allow us to prepare sufficient resources). The morning session will be 9:15am - 10:30am and the afternoon session 2pm - 3:15pm
Step Into Christmas - Thursday 28/11/24 (3:30pm - 5-30pm) for Reception - Year 6 (sorry, no Nursery)
This event will be held in the Junior Hall only and therefore we do not have unlimited capacity.
The parent vote was an overwhelming yes to charging £4 per child to include a drink, hotdog and small gift (only 2 parents voted 'no').
If you would like your child to attend please complete this booking form.
We will be limiting capacity to 110 (this is approximately the number who attended last year and we have slightly less children on roll). This is to ensure we have enough gifts for all and to ensure we do not exceed capacity in the Junior Hall. The form will close on Monday 25/11/24 or if capacity is reached. Please note, admission is not guaranteed by completing the form - there is a chance that capacity could be exceeded over an evening or the weekend and if this happens we will contact those who completed the form after capacity was reached.
If your child has ALN and needs close supervision to be safe, please contact the office directly before Friday to let us know if you wish them to attend. Support would be dependent on availability and we will need time to confirm if this can be accommodated.
Snow
We really hope there will be no disruption this year. However, a reminder that our procedures appear on our school website: here. On the website is a page with a linked document with even greater detail about how decisions are made. Please remember that we will send out messages if the school is closed as early as possible. If we do not send out a message by 8am at the very latest (and it would be really unusual circumstances for it to be that late), then you can assume school is open. In the event that it snows during the school day, please do not tie up our phone lines and office staff by ringing to ask - we will send out a text immediately if a decision is taken to close.
