As children growing up in church, you may have sung the song “Read your Bible, pray everyday.” Children love this song more for the growing and shrinking rather than the message of the song. While there is certainly not anything wrong with teaching our kids that spending time in prayer and God’s Word is important every day, many “grown up” believers still think that is all that is necessary. If I just spend my time, my duty as a good Christian, reading the Bible, I will grow, grow, grow. While a constant reading overview of the Bible is certainly important and should be maintained, to be a mature believer, we must go deeper. Many Christians have a desire to study Scripture but do not have the knowhow and tools necessary to do so. This study is designed to give you that skill to “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15
This study will begin on July 28 on Sunday nights at 6:00pm. Whether you are a veteran of Bible study or brand new, this study will be a great help in honing your skills.
Child classes are available. Please sign up and let us know children and ages so that we can be prepared for them.
