Celebrations & Achievements
Miss Melcher's 5th Grade class is excited to adopt a 2-month-old calf named Lucky from a local farm! They receive weekly updates and will have a Zoom call with the farm owners later. Each student takes turns keeping a stuffed animal version of Lucky on weekends. They'll also learn about calf care in science class.
Carrie Campbell has been a Paraprofessional at Kaneland High School for 12 years and is a proud member of SPEAK. She focuses on student success and ensures IEP accommodations are met. Her own children are Kaneland graduates, so Carrie has been able to interact with and cheer on students at events. She has also served as Association Rep and Election Chair, advocating for fellow members. Kaneland is lucky to have her! Congratulations on your ESP STAR nomination!
Kaneland Board
The next regular Kaneland Board of Education meeting takes place on Monday, November 17 at 7:00 p.m. at Kaneland Harter Middle School. All Committees will meet at 6:00 PM prior to the board meeting.
