Principal Message
Dear St. Paul Families, As we head into the final week of November, I want to extend my gratitude for the continued partnership and support you show our school community. This time of year invites us to slow down, reflect, and recognize God’s presence in the learning and growth happening each day. A reminder that our Drop-In Demonstration of Learning will take place on Thursday, November 21, from 1:00–5:00 p.m. Families are welcome to visit during this window to see the wonderful work students have been engaging in. This informal opportunity allows you to celebrate your child’s progress, connect with teachers, and experience the learning environment firsthand. Thank you for your ongoing trust and for the many ways you help make our school a welcoming, caring, and faith-filled place for all. Wishing everyone a blessed week ahead. Have a wonderful weekend,
Mrs. Carr-Jeschke & Mrs. McNamee
Week of November 24-28, 2025
Join us this November 27 for Drop in Demo of Learning!
From the November 7, 2025 Principal Memo Parents and guardians are welcome to stop by the school anytime between 1:00–5:00 PM to visit classrooms, view student work, and connect with your child’s teacher. If you are unable to attend during those hours but would like an opportunity to speak with your child’s teacher, please reach out to them via email to arrange a phone conversation or an alternate meeting time. We look forward to welcoming you into our classrooms and celebrating the learning that’s taking place!
ECSD Foundation Movie Afternoon
Every year, we fundraise for the ECSD Dreams for Kids Foundation. This foundation supports students in our schools in many various ways. You can read more HERE. On the afternoon of November 28th, students will be watching a movie in their classrooms and enjoying a snack of potato chips and a juice box. We ask that students bring in a small donation for this afternoon; the suggested donation is $5.00 but families are welcome to choose their own contribution.
Read A Thon 2025
We have been holding our annual read a thon this past week, encouraging students to set reading goals for themselves and to collect donations to support their reading goals. Envelopes and donations are due Monday November 24th- students have the weekend to add any extra reading minutes or donations. Once everything is tallied up, we will announce the winners next week. All proceeds will go towards purchasing new books for our school library. Thank you for your support!
From the November 7, 2025 Principal Memo: With the loss of instructional and preparation time in October, we have decided to adjust the format of our Christmas Concert this year to best support both student learning and our celebration of the Christmas season as a school community.
In lieu of the traditional concert at St. John the Evangelist church on December 10, homeroom classes will instead be sharing a Christmas carol celebration on December 18 at 11:15 AM in the school gym, following our pancake breakfast.
Families and extended families are warmly invited to join us — and even join in! — as students share songs that celebrate the joy and meaning of the season together.
To order Purdy's Chocolate: https://fundraising.purdys.com/join.aspx/1818866-134647 Campaign Number is 62407 Orders should arrive at the school no later than December 12th.
Please support the Grade 6 Bottle Drive next Wednesday before and after school. Empties can be dropped off with volunteers in the school parking lot. Thank you for your support!
