Words From Our Executive Director

2023 saw two of my close friends receive our services, one is pictured here shortly before she passed away.

Everyone is touched by death, grief and pain. It is universal to our existence, at once private and personal, and connective. Soulumination captures and preserves memories for family members and friends. Our photos and gifts are tangible moments to touch, to hold, or gently close into a drawer until ready to be faced, pieces of a continual journey or transition.

It is never lost on us that we are allowed into these sacred spaces.

With Love and Care,

McKenzie Johnson

They mean the world. They allow friends and family who didn't get to meet him, a chance to 'meet him.'

Video: What our services mean to health care providers and families

This was the hardest time of our lives as family, and these photos show us how far we have come.
It has meant everything to have had such amazing photos be gifted to us.

Families maintain all rights to their images with the option to release them to us for use in bringing awareness to our work.

My whole condo is filled with our beautiful photographs. Everyone who comes over comments on them.
It was a such a blessing to have professional photos taken when we have been so focused on survival day to day.

The pictures from Soulumination have become one of our most prized possessions.
The images have meant everything. Our little girl only lived for two days so our extended family and friends never had the chance to meet her. These photos gave us a chance to share our story with family and friends. They will be cherished by us for the rest of our lives.
