ISCI Senior Night

On Friday, April 19th, we had an opportunity to celebrate our Graduating Seniors during our Senior Night at Carmel Ice Skadium. Lakin Hittle & Zoe Tu will be greatly missed, however, we are all excited and proud of their accomplishments on and off the ice! Good luck, Ladies ... we know you are going to excel!

Having Fun at the Rink!

On January 26, 2024 Marissa Bowers came out to take individual, group and candid photos of our ISCI skaters at Carmel Ice Skadium. Not only do the girls love skating, they have formed friendships and teams. If you did not receive your individual photo, please contact MaryJo Tenorio @ mj-v-t@comcast.net to obtain your photos.

Volunteer Hours

Please make sure you input your volunteer hours into EntryEeze ASAP!!!

We need to ensure each family has completed a total of 20 hours (with 7 of those hours dedicated towards our Metro Indy Skating Challenge). If you have any questions regarding hours, process, etc. please contact Yuhui Zha @ yuhui.zha@gmail.com or Karen Mackay @ karenmackay0@gmail.com. They will both be more than happy to help you.

There is a coaches clinic & Skaters Clinic. Registration fees include snacks and lunch on Saturday. There are even opportunities for private lessons! Please, check it out!!!

Ice Etiquette

Ice etiquette is designed to keep all of our skaters safe on the ice. Please take the time to review the ice etiquette rules with your skater. See the link below. Skaters should be aware of others on the ice, especially when jumping or doing spins. We've had some issues recently with the two rules below.

  • Skaters should give way to coaches and lessons that are being taught on the ice
  • Skaters must always be aware of whose music is being played and do their best to give right of way to that skater

Club Ice Check-In

Please remind your skaters to check in with the ice monitor before they get on the ice. Also, please speak with your skater about on ice safety. They should not be skating through lessons or programs. Skaters doing jumps or spins should always be careful of others. Similarly, skaters need to be aware of others and avoid skating into someone else's jump or spin. We would like a safe, injury-free season!
