ANG Leaders Visit Hooligans

During their visit, they toured Wing facilities, took a closer look at the Hooligans’ capabilities, had conversations with Airmen, and provided updates about the status of the force.

Employee Engagement Training

Bismarck

Mr. Robert Roehrich, State Equal Opportunity Manager, and Maj. Rachael Berg, Employee Labor Relations, presented an engaging and informative presentation on ‘The Dangers of Filling in the Blanks,’ at Fraine Barracks in Bismarck, N.D., Nov. 1, 2021. This was the first employee engagement training for the N.D. National Guard full-time staff for the Fiscal Year 2022. The class covered the downfalls of making assumptions and how to improve workplace relationships at all levels of an organization. (Story and photos by Officer Candidate Michaela C.P. Granger, N.D. Wing

Mr. Robert Roehrich, State Equal Opportunity Manager, and Maj. Rachael Berg, Employee Labor Relations, gave their presentation on ‘The Dangers of Filling in the Blanks,’ throughout the state, including a stop at the North Dakota Air National Guard Base, Fargo, N.D., Nov. 4, 2021.

Their presentation incorporated videos, discussions, and interactive polls. It also included a group exercise that showed how easy it is to make assumptions about a situation from the outside looking in. This course reminded all participants to think twice before reacting negatively to situations and to extend the benefit of the doubt to those around them.
