welcome!
hey y'all! welcome to my advanced digital photography site, here, you will find my work from all of our projects and shoots! enjoy!
about my camera:
- i use a Nikon D3300 (click for more info!) - i use a rechargeable lithium battery
gtk (get to know) project:
in this project, when had to get to know the different modes on our cameras and ways to shoot in different environments. to the left, you will see my gtk collage. below you will see my 10x10x10 collage and my top shot. my favorite part of this project was having different requirements for each shot so we didn't just take a photo of the same things.
wip (words in pictures) project:
in this project, we went around the school and found different objects that looked like certain letters. out of the photos, we made collages to spell out 2 words of our choice. below you will see the two collages with the shots I took. i liked this project because we had to be creative and original with our shots. we had to find things that naturally looked like each letter.
pictorialist project:
In this project, we used existing shots and applied various effects and filters to transform them into paintings and images. my favorite picture was the collage because of the filters used and the different text. below you can see my 5 objects photo, where we picked five objects in a photo and used different filters on them, my filter collage, and a photo of me that i turned into a painting. i enjoyed this project because I learned how to use different effects on my photos.
elements of art project:
for the eoa (element of art) project, we captured many different photos that highlight the seven elements of art, shape, form, line, space, color, value, and texture. below is a large collage that includes all elements of art, along with my top shot from each element. (left: color top shot)
composition technique project:
for this project, we had to capture two photos for each composition technique, repetition, reflection, worms and birds eye view, leading lines, framing, motion, forced perspective, shadows, rule of thirds. below are my top shots from each category and 3 composition photos using 5 images in each. my favorite part of this project was getting to combine the photos i took into cool compositions.
