Easter has arrived in Lower School and we are busily preparing some Easter crafts and treats ready for next week 🐣🐰🐥
We had a very special visitor in our assembly this week, Reverend Angela from Holy Cross Church in Cowbridge, came in to talk to the children all about Easter and what it means to Christians and the Church. Diolch yn fawr for coming to visit us 😊
Nursery have been learning all about Spring with lots of different books. They went on a 'signs of Spring' walk around the school to start the week, they found lots of buds, bulbs and shoots all around the school. Nursery have been very crafty this week and have been making Easter Egg suncatchers to go in their windows at home. They have also made Easter egg clay pots which they are going to paint next week.
Reception have been reading the story 'The Three Billy Goats Gruff'. They have been using adjectives to describe the troll and have been doing all manner of troll challenges in their classroom provision. They were disappointed that the weather ruined plans to go down to the Physic Gardens in Cowbridge but are looking forward to going to visit very soon! 🌷🌺🌹🌼
