Art Festival of Henderson
Come out to Water Street for our annual Art Festival of Henderson! This two-day event showcases contemporary artists, unique crafts, music and more. The festival is a juried art show featuring many talented artisans from throughout the region. Visitors will enjoy a variety of art demonstrations, including a chalk art gallery, glass blowing as well as activities, daily entertainment and food vendors. Helldorado Days Parade
The Helldorado Days Parade, an annual event celebrating Las Vegas and its history, begins at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 9, on Fourth Street from Gass to Stewart Avenue in downtown Las Vegas. Everyone is invited to line the parade route or sit in the grandstand to enjoy the two-hour parade. Expect to see 10 school marching bands, Zelzah Shriner flivver cars, hundreds of costumed dancers, plenty of equestrian groups, car clubs, motorcycle clubs, school and business floats, the city’s Big Red fire truck and so much more; 142 entries are scheduled. Around the World - Hula: Stories in Motion
Learn basic hula movements, explore the history and cultural significance of this traditional dance, and enjoy a live performance by a hula dancer.
