Voting information

There are three ways to vote on the half-cent local option sales tax to help finance the creation of the Chanhassen Bluffs Community Center.

Vote Early In Person: Residents may vote early in person at the Carver County Government Center - Administration Building, 600 East 4th Street, Chaska, MN 55318. Early in-person voting begins on Friday, Sept. 20, and ends on Monday, Nov. 4. Voters can cast their ballot Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Vote Early by Mail: Residents may vote early by requesting absentee ballot beginning Friday, Sept. 20. Download and complete the Absentee Ballot Application (PDF).

  • Absentee Ballot Applications must be signed in order to be processed.
  • Once your application is received, absentee ballot materials will be mailed to you as soon as they are available.
  • Absentee ballots must be received by 8 p.m. on Election Day to be counted.

Vote on Election Day— Tuesday, November 5, 2024: Residents may vote at their assigned local polling place.
