Welcome to February’s first newsletter! Saying goodbye to January has again reminded me just how time flies. There is plenty to report and share as always at Birkwood.

Some great news for everyone. Our work in Philosophy has secured a Bronze Award from SAPERE – the body for critical thinking in school.

Philosophy for Children

The week started with a wonderful Tech Assembly where some very knowledgeable and talented Y6 children explained to everyone that their assistance with technology is there to share and to learn from. The presentation was absolutely excellent and many teachers have already benefitted from this knowledge.
