Who We are
We are Breakout Sports Broadcasting, otherwise known as BSB. We're a sports broadcasting company founded in 2023 and located in Flemington, New Jersey. We live stream games for sporting teams and leagues across New Jersey and Pennsylvania. BSB was founded by two friends with a passion for sports and live streaming and decided to take it to the next level. At the moment we stream exclusively ice hockey, but are looking to expand to other sports. We currently are partnered with six different college and university club ice hockey programs such as Rutgers University, The College of New Jersey, and Rider University just to name a few. Our full list of current partners are below. We have also worked with the Jersey Pro League, a professional summer hockey league ran out of the Prudential Center practice rink in Newark, NJ.

We pride ourselves on producing the best stream possible for our partners and viewers. We know how much a quality live stream of your leagues, teams, and most importantly, kids games mean to you because we've experienced the struggles of not having them in our own lives. We stream in full HD with top end equipment to make sure you don't miss any of the action. We've also hand picked our tightly knit and extremely professional staff who provide superb play-by-play & analysis, great camera work, and professional level graphics that make the live streams the best they can be.
Innovations in streaming
Since many of us here at BSB come from broadcasting and videography backgrounds, we wanted to find ways to make streaming and watching games easier. The watching part was easy. We originally started on Twitch.TV, but after some trial and error we decided it wasn't a great fit and opted for another option, that being YouTube. Switching over was an easy choice since it's much easier for our viewers to either search our name on YouTube or click the link on our gameday posts. Also, it's free to watch the games which we know is a massive plus. As for the streaming part, the switch to YouTube helped in that department too, but we still had work to do. Using some of our prior experiences, we put together a "broadcast box" that houses most of our equipment that we can stream right out of. It makes setup much easier and saves space at games as well. We currently have two of them and are hoping to build more in the future as we continue to grow.
what we provide
We work with our partners to provide exactly what they are looking for and what they can afford for live streams of their games. Our livestreams come in two different packages. Our Basic Package incudes 1 camera/camera operator, 1 technical director, 1 play-by-play broadcaster, and basic graphics such as the score-bug and a basic starting line-up. Our Full Package incudes 2 cameras/camera operators, 1 technical director, a play-by-play and color broadcaster, motion graphics, and instant replay. We also offer the 2nd camera, 2nd broadcaster, motion graphics, and instant replay as separate add-on's to the Basic Package if partners would like to add one if they don't want certain things or can't afford the Full Package price. Our Co-Founders
Our Co-Founders, Carolo Pascale and Colton Reynolds, founded Breakout Sports Broadcasting in May of 2023 with a goal to carve their own niche in the broadcasting realm. The two became friends in high school and as they grew up, they both took different paths that led to the formation of BSB. Carolo went to Rider University to study Sports Media while Colton chose to focus on growing his own YouTube channel. Carolo worked with the club ice hockey team at Rider doing play-by-play on the Rider radio station. But after budget cuts due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the station opted to take the broadcasts off the air in the summer of 2021. Afterwards, Carolo asked Colton if streaming the games was possible and things kicked off from there. The pair, alongside several of their friends, broadcasted the 21-22 and 22-23 seasons while Carolo was still at Rider. After Carolo graduated, him and Colton came up with an idea to form their own company to continue what they did with Rider. And that is when Breakout Sports Broadcasting was formed. Since then, the pair have cornered the market in broadcasting college club hockey in New Jersey. They have worked with Rider, Rutgers University, Ramapo College, Widener University, The College of New Jersey (TCNJ), and the Northeast Collegiate Hockey League (NECHL). The pair worked with the Jersey Pro League (JPL), a professional summer hockey league located in Newark, New Jersey. In the JPL, BSB was a team and jersey sponsor for the 2024 season and broadcasted all 43 games over the summer. On top of that, they have partnered with fellow sports media company Pegasus Sports Video to expand their broadcasting to more sports and leagues across the Tri-State area. As BSB continues to grow, Carolo and Colton are making sure that it's constantly at the top of the game when it comes to the quality of it's broadcasts and look forward to expanding to company to new heights in the future.
