faculty spotlight - dr. tyler jumper
Tyler Jumper didn’t grow up on a farm. In fact, it wasn’t until college that she had her first hands-on experience with cattle. But today, she’s a champion for food animal medicine, an advocate for producers and a passionate teacher. She blends veterinary science with a people-centered purpose.
Dean's Message
Dear Friends,
The College of Veterinary Medicine continues to show, by every metric, the excellence of which our students are capable. Our most recent North American Veterinary Licensing Examination or NAVLE scores were released, and the pass rate of the Class of 2025 was 95.4%. This is an outstanding result and serves as a testament to the quality of the services we provide and the students with whom we work. You can see our NAVLE scores for the past five years by clicking here.
It is wonderful when projects we have been discussing for a while begin to near their completion. We are excited that the renovations to our CVM library are nearly finished. We have been working on this in conjunction with University Libraries, and we will have our official ribbon cutting on the project in just a few days.
As many of you already know, this year's Alumni Weekend will be held Sept. 19-20. We are preparing our registration process, and you will be hearing from us soon about ordering tickets. Last year's inaugural alumni weekend was a great success, and I truly enjoyed getting to know some of the remarkable graduates this institution has produced. So, please mark your calendars, and arrange to spend some time with your CVM family.
All the best,
Dr. Nicholas Frank, Dean
