Au croisement de la musique électronique et du jazz avant-gardiste, les trois musiciens de The Brums se retrouvent autour de ce projet, après s'être croisés pendant 10 ans sur les scènes belges et internationales. Leur EP ‘The Brums’ (2018) livrait pour la première fois la fusion de leurs expérimentations, et les a conduit deux ans plus tard à l’Eurosonic, en passant par Dour, les Ardentes, le Botanique, le Festival des Libertés et bien d’autres. Ils livrent en 2021 leur premier album ‘No Encore’ produit par Marcus Forsgren (Jaga Jazzist). Sorti en Mars 2025 sur le label Flak Records, Soleil Noir explore de nouvelles émotions telles que la mélancolie, la sérénité, l'audace et l'espoir. Le trio a toujours rêvé de jouer en live avec un orchestre à cordes. Ce rêve devient réalité sur la dernière piste éponyme de l'album. The Brums affirme son style original et sans concession pour vous livrer un nouveau disque riche en émotions. Leur live ciselé et sauvage permet à la musique d’éclore avec puissance et liberté.

At the crossing point between electronic music and avant garde Jazz, the three musicians of The Brums meet together in this project, after they ran into each other for ten years on belgian and international stages. The first EP, 'The Brums' (2018) delivered for the first time the fusion of their experimentations, led them two years later to Eurosonic, Dour, les Ardentes, le Botanique and le Festival des Libertés amongst other. In 2021, their first album, 'No Encore' came out, produced by Marcus Forsgren (Jaga Jazzist). The Last album ‘Soleil Noir’, on the label Flak Records explores new emotions such as melancholy, serenity, boldness, and hope. The trio has always dreamed of performing live with a string orchestra, and this dream becomes a reality on the final eponymous track of the album. The Brums assert their original and uncompromising style, delivering a new record rich in emotions. Their new chiseled and savage live show helps music to hatch with power and freedom.
