Conrad Bi-Weekly Memo February 28, 2025

Principal's Message

The beginning of March marks the arrival of spring — and with it, a busy season at Conrad! This time of year brings standardized assessments, co-curricular competitions, spring sports, and student recognition events. It’s also the perfect time to begin thinking about the final stretch of the school year.

With that in mind, on Tuesday, March 11th, all Red Clay students in grades 9 through 11 will participate in the School Day SAT or PSAT. These assessments are an important part of Red Clay’s strategic plan and serve as key performance indicators for both our school and our students.

These exams give students the opportunity to demonstrate their skills, while also opening doors to valuable opportunities such as Advanced Placement (AP) and dual enrollment coursework. In addition, the results support college searches and help streamline the college admissions process.

To help students be successful, we encourage them to:

✅ Get a good night’s sleep

✅ Eat a healthy breakfast

✅ Arrive on time, ready to do their best

Thank you for your partnership in helping our students feel prepared and confident for the March 11th School Day PSAT and SAT.

Mission- Conrad Schools of Science… teaching life science and life lessons in a kind and inclusive environment, inspiring students and improving the world.

Vision- Conrad Schools of Science will empower students to achieve their goals and impact the community.

SAT/PSAT Testing Day – March 11

On Tuesday, March 11, all students in grades 9-11 will participate in SAT/PSAT testing. 9th and 10th graders will take the PSAT, while 11th graders will take the SAT. Both exams are digital, so students must bring their Chromebooks fully charged on test day.

To ensure students are prepared and perform their best, we ask families to help by:

  • Encouraging students to get a full night’s sleep the night before.
  • Ensuring students arrive to school on time—testing will begin promptly in the morning.
  • Making sure students eat a nutritious breakfast before arriving at school.
  • Early Dismissals - If a student plans to leave school after testing, they must submit an early dismissal note to the main office before March 11. Notes should be turned in as soon as possible to ensure a smooth process on test day. Testing should wrap up by 10:45am.

We appreciate your support in making this a successful testing day for all students!
