Roadmap to Combat Postpartum Haemorrhage Social Media Kit

Postpartum haemorrhage – excessive bleeding after childbirth - is the world’s leading cause of maternal deaths. Tackling this issue will therefore be critical for getting back on track towards the Sustainable Development Goal target for reducing maternal mortality.

On 11 October 2023, the World Health Organization (WHO), UN Special Programme on Human Reproduction (HRP) and partners will be launching the Roadmap to Combat Postpartum Haemorrhage between 2023 and 2030 – an ambitious new plan which aims to improve prevention and treatment of this condition around the world.

We invite you to join us in building support and momentum for this vital initiative across your social media platforms. Working together, we can realize our common goal to help more women survive childbirth and live a healthy life with their families.
