4th Grade RainForest Open House And 5th Grade Rainforest Country Reports!

4th Grade Rainforest Tour Brought Learning to Life!

Mrs. Thorp’s 4th grade class transformed their classroom into a vibrant, educational rainforest, and their hard work culminated in an exciting, student-led Rainforest Tour!

Visitors were guided through interactive stations showcasing the layers of the rainforest, animal habitats, unique plant life, and fascinating facts. Each station reflected the students’ creativity, research, and deep understanding of rainforest ecosystems.

Guests also participated in fun contests and explored 5th grade rainforest country research projects proudly displayed in the hallway, making it a true celebration of cross-grade collaboration and learning.

Leading up to the event, students added new elements to their classroom each day based on their reading and discoveries. They also worked on research papers to deepen their understanding of rainforest topics.

During the June 20th Open House, 4th grade students proudly served as tour guides, sharing their knowledge and excitement with families and visitors.

A big shoutout to our 4th and 5th grade students for their enthusiasm, creativity, and hard work, you truly brought the rainforest to life!
