Ysgol Tir Morfa - Newsletter Friday 11th april 2025

Dear Parents and Carers,

We’ve reached the end of an incredibly busy term! I want to thank you all, along with the wonderful pupils and hard-working staff for your warm welcome and support during my first term at Ysgol Tir Morfa.

We’ve celebrated during two Easter Assemblies today and I am very grateful to Rev. Janice for joining us at Grange Road this afternoon. Thank you to all the children who took part in our Easter Art and Craft Challenge – we were so impressed by the creativity, effort, and hard work each child put into their entry! We’re pleased to announce that the winners for this year’s challenge are: Daniel, Jack, Efan, Jack, Rhys, Coby, Chloe, Mason and Joseph. Congratulations to all of them. Choosing the winners wasn’t easy as every entry was fantastic. Thank you again for your continued support.

Relax and enjoy a wonderful Easter break with your families.

Kind regards,

Susan H. Roberts

Siabod have been out and about enjoying the sunshine this week, looking out for signs of Spring.
Dosbarth Aled enjoyed some Easter themed science this week, they looked at real eggs, plastic eggs and the favourite type of eggs, chocolate!
We are submitting our Minecraft Education world tomorrow for the "WRU club of the future" competition. The children have worked so hard on this, researching their local area and linking their work to their build. Here we have the cinema "Filmworld" with the Minecraft movie playing for everyone to see! Unfortunately our cinema has just closed in Rhyl, so the children made one on Minecraft Education for their local community to share. We are so proud of the pupils they have collaborated well together and produced an amazing rugby club of the future. Da iawn Dosbarth Brenig A.K.A the "Busy Brenig Bees"
A lovely Easter themed week in Seren!
